Explain you understand the pension fund has investments in fossil fuels and other carbon intensive companies.
Tell them you wish to make a formal complaint as e.g. this is morally, ethically and financially irresponsible, because they are funding climate change, when they should be investing in a safe green future.
Make your complaint statement personal reflecting your own situation and concerns, in your own words.

If you belong to a trade union and want to demonstrate support for the divest fossil fuels / invest in climate-friendly pensions campaign, you can ask your union branch to debate and support a motion.
